Maxine Clark, CEB - Chief Executive Bear - moved me with her story of starting Build-A-Bear in 1997. It is now the 10th largest retailer of toys and they have sold over 90 million bears. She flashed a slide of their newly launched Star Wars bears and now I want one.
Kelby Carr is the founder of the Type-A Mom Conference, a blogging and social media conference held in Asheville, NC. It is the first large conference for this niche in Asheville drawing people from all over the U.S. and Canada.
